I am a recently graduated physics student from Lancaster University with 2+ years developing AR/VR games in Unity.
I am currently looking to get into game development, specifically looking at Graphics Programming or Gameplay Programming. I have an advanced mathematics background from my degree, and technical knowledge of VFX, gameplay and graphics programming from my experience working in Unity and my own personal projects.
I am very passionate about game development. I like the artistic expression of the medium. I find building fluid gameplay makes a game fun and enjoyable, while building fleshed-out, artistic environments builds the game-world to make it immersive.
My time at ISS Innovation Hub Lancs had me working with established curator Sandra Kemp, developing AR/VR experiences to showcase, the Victorian philantropist, John Ruskin’s work. This work gave a lot of freedom for me to try to use my knowledge and expertice in AR/VR game development to create something meanigful to the works of John Ruskin. I also had the responsibility to listen to Sandra and help bring her vision of John Ruskin to life. This was a great experience for me to extend my artistic abilities and learn how to deal with envisioning someones ideas and developing them rapidly for show.
About my personal life, I like to play guitar, cook, go on walks and hang out with my girlfriend.
